The Group Digital Services department consist of a team in Trelleborg (Sweden) and a team in Bangalore (India).
One of our main responsibilities is to help improve the efficiency and productivity of the business. We are now looking for experienced Cloud Development Specialist to join our team and help us to shape our cloud journey, going forward he/she will be responsible of developing solutions and managing the chosen cloud platform.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Serve as technical SME across assigned projects.Introduce appropriate tools across SDLC to improve delivery efficiency and quality of the product.Accountable to assist team members and provide solutions for technical impediments when necessary.
- Technology :Owns all technical project artifactsAccountable for end to end technical solution implementation.Drive the technology roadmap with the Solution Architect.Drive technology competency within the team.
- Quality:Be a champion for metrics based delivery quality and process improvement.Champion the Quality First, Test First mind-set to ensure that all development is targeted towards clear and specific quality outcome.Work with Engineering Manager and Engineers to identify and mitigate technical debt.
- Business:Have a clear understanding of the business goals and ensure that the team understands the business value of the iteration.
- Innovation:Demonstrate commitment to innovation by actively learning and implementing new technical tools / methods / approaches and showcasing them to the team and other stakeholders.Continuous improvement.Constantly seek to improve the current process.Own and drive automation initiatives for efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- At-least 8 years of solution design and development experience with the following technologies: C#.NET, HTML/JavaScript/CSS, CSOM, REST.
- Solid experience in SharePoint Online/O365 server management, deployments, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience in Front-End frameworks/Libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services is an advantage.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into high-quality SharePoint/O365 solutions, using a range of technologies to achieve the best performance, scalability and maintainability.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps, Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience with close cooperation and daily contact with international colleagues.
- Great team player who can explain concepts and functional requirements and help team members to overcome obstacles in development.
- Pro-actively seeks improvements to the way we do work and develop solutions. Always stays updated with latest technologies and can map new opportunities to our organizational goals.
- Experience working with Agile (Scrum) project team development methodologies.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical excellence mindset - by constant focus on current and future technology trends.
- Bachelor/Master degree with information technology background or equivalent.
- Good Soft-skills and assertiveness – specifically to build trustful, collaborative relationships.
- Positive attitude, decisive but humble when needed, puts the team first.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate Pro-active, positive and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to take direction, constructive criticism and work to specified deadlines.
