  • The Industrial Engineering Manager will ensure that the product is able to be readily manufactured in a timely and cost effective manner by understanding the manufacturing implications of the changes to pre or post molding processes.

  • The Industrial Engineering Manager will provide assistance to all other department members and share knowledge of their experience. They shall advise on best polymer, equipment and processing solutions proposed.

  • B.E Polymer or Chemical, Mechanical

  • 15 to 20 years experience gained in a dynamic polymer manufacturing environment.

Competences :

  • Able to evaluate and communicate the information presented on complex engineering drawings, and have a sound grasp of current manufacturing techniques. A high level of attention to detail is essential.

  • The job holder will possess excellent communication skills and should demonstrate some previous experience in liaising and interacting efficiently with customers in a professional manner.

  • The job holder will demonstrate experience in applying analytical approaches to the resolution of application of pre and post manufacturing solutions.

Summary of the role

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning of the factory and stand in for Production Manager where vital
  • Responsible for achieving production KPI’s for factory and be able to demonstrate impacts on business performance and how to put
  • Implement improvement’s to resolve issues affecting production
  • Plan labour for factory, raising resourcing concerns to the line manager when relevant and make appropriate suggestions to resolve the issues yourself first
  • Booking output from the production lines daily
  • Investigation and documentation of disciplinary and/or capability issues in accordance with Company policy
  • Monitor attendance and sickness levels for your area in line with company targets. Ensure Return to Work interviews are conducted within 24 hours of staff return; raising concerns to line manager and/or HR Manager where appropriate.
  • Undertake appraisals and performance review when required, highlighting training and development needs and ensuring these are met
  • Ensure quality targets are met and take the lead in root cause analysis (RCA) events to understand cause and prevent re-occurrence
  • In conjunction with Production Engineers look to assist in standardisation and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods / processes
  • Responsible for opening and closing the factory as and when required
  • Promote lean manufacturing core principle that promote manufacturing excellence.

Du skal vide, at der kun er en meget lille chance for at få en dagsholds-stilling, da vi har en venteliste og prioriterer vores nuværende medarbejdere, når muligheden byder sig. Hvis du har særlige kvalifikationer fx svendebreve, erfaring med CNC, erfaring som industritekniker eller maskinarbejder, erfaring med arbejde i plast, erfaring med kvalitetskontrol, erfaring med ensidigt arbejde eller lignende, så husk endelig at skrive det på.
