As a Lasernet Functional Specialist, you will implement and configure the Lasernet solution within the organization's IT infrastructure.

The SAP Business Analyst Sales in close collaboration with the assigned Manager is responsible for ensuring the appropriate delivery of S/4 HANA Support Services by the Business Analysts in the own area of responsibility

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Configure the system into functional requirements and technical requirements close to SAP standard and best practices & identify opportunities to simplify applications
  • Participate in feasibility studies (change requests) for system enhancements
  • Compile specifications for development and technical implementation (e.g. reports, forms, interfaces & integration etc.)
  • Document functionality, create application manuals and develop training materials
  • Support the creation of Business Cases, participate feasibility studies or PoC’s, prepare work effort estimates for business requests, software change requests, system enhancements or projects
  • Provide Application Support for users, key users and subject matter experts by following Service Desk Processes and usage of the ticketing system
  • Testing of SAP configuration to ensure the system is meeting specified needs
  • Supporting during the various test-phases for systems & applications

Candidate profile:

  • Fluent in English language
  • 3-5 years of work experience in business analyst role in rolling out ERP systems (SAP beneficial, other ERP Systems welcome) in Sales
  • Understanding of industrial / commercial business processes, mainly area of pertinence
  • Able to travel and work effectively in a remote situation dealing with all levels of the organization
  • Proven process application knowledge background (pertinent to the area of responsibility)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to coordinate projects and report status and progress

For the Information Systems & Business Process Management department located in Stuttgart, Germany, we are looking for an SAP Business Analyst Data Migrations (m/f/d).

Scope of your role

  • Design, implement, and execute data migrations for master and transactional data from legacy ERP systems into SAP S/4
  • Analyze legacy ERP data structures, work out mapping rules into S/4, and build custom migration objects if required
  • Collaborate with the business teams in terms of data cleansing and data enrichment activities
  • Develop robust and reusable data migration routines and data mappings using BODS and Migration Cockpit
  • Plan the data migration cycles considering data object dependencies, ensure adequate test scenarios, and support the creation of corresponding cutover plans
  • Monitor data migration execution, establish data quality rules, and initiate performance improvements

What defines you

  • Degree in an IT-related discipline, e.g. Information Technology, Informatics, Business, and/or equivalent
  • Extensive experience with data migrations as part of global SAP rollout projects, ideally S/4 HANA, using professional ETL-Tools such as BODS or Informatica
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Migration Object Modeler and the design of custom migration objects
  • Good understanding of SAP data structures and business processes, in Sales, Logistics/Production, and/or Finance/Controlling
  • Advanced SQL and SQL Script knowledge, and at least basic programming experience in ABAP and debugging
  • Basic knowledge in data modeling and data architecture affairs, preferably gained in a data warehousing environment
